You heard it! The 6 Roboteers are going to the States! They are going to be competing in the North NJ FLL Championship which will be held on Saturday December 9th, 2017 at Mt. Olive High School in Flanders, NJ. The Roboteers, coaches, and families are all so excited! We want to thank our sponsors, Amy Applegate, Lionel Galipot, and Mylene Tisch for their support!

The 6 Roboteers Won The Judges Award!

Description of Award:
During the course of competition the judges may encounter teams whose unique efforts, performance or dynamics merit recognition. Some teams have a story that sets them apart in a noteworthy way. Sometimes a team is so close to winning an award that the judges choose to give special recognition to the team. Judges Awards allow the freedom to recognize remarkable teams that stand out for reasons other than the Core Award categories. Examples include: Against All Odds or Overcoming Adversity or Perseverance
This award goes to the team that improvises and overcomes a difficult situation while still making a respectable showing, with an attitude that shows, “We can overcome incredible odds if we never give up, no matter what!” (Source FLL)

FIELD TRIP!

The 6 Roboteers recently just went to New Jersey American Water. We took a tour of the water treatment plant and found out how they clean the water, where they get the water, how the plant works and so much more! So thank you to the New Jersey American Water facility for filling our brains full of more water facts and special thanks to our tour guide Mike and to Mylene for setting the tour up!

We have successfully used the color sensor to follow the black line!

Animal Allies mission Milking Station objective is to push the red lever until the milk is released. Used square up and follow the line to complete objective.
